With three sections covering software, education and content, the CODiEs are one of the best-established and most comprehensive technology awards. This year there were some 70 categories up for grabs with industry names both big and small in the running. CODiE winners were honored at a gala luncheon during the All About the Cloud conference in San Francisco on May 11,

The winner of the CMS category was iAPPS Content Manager from Bridgeline Digital. A gushing Thomas Massie, CEO, said

"Bridgeline is honored to win this prestigious award from the SIIA. iAPPS has achieved a litany of impressive milestones over the past 12 months. We’ve exceeded internal metrics around licensing volume, implemented iAPPS within some of the best brands known in America, executed a full release of the deeply integrated iAPPS Commerce module, and expanded our partner reseller channel efforts. Winning the CODiE validates how special a product iAPPS truly is."

Elsewhere, Drupal lost out in the Best Open Source category to the Affinity Debit Card Platform from Tempo.

Winners gets to use the CODiE logo on their winning product and a fair amount of coverage from the tech press.

Best Document Management Award

The winner of this award was SpringCM, Ken Wasch, President of SIIA said

"In this economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate. SpringCM has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the winners."

Other winners included Adobe Acrobat for Best Communication Solution, Boomi for Best Application Integration Solution, K2 KeyAuditor for Best Asset Management Solution and NetSuite for Best Cloud Infrastructure.
