Does your startup have promise? If so, consider applying for SeedStart Media 2011, a 12-week summer program designed to provide seed funding to technology companies to build a product and launch their company. The summer program takes place in New York City and works to further develop the entrepreneurial sector and spirit of the Big Apple.

A Startup Trifecta: Funding, Mentors, Opportunity

Startups selected to participate in the program will be linked with a network of mentors, investors and leading industry experts to advise them, including some of the world’s largest media, advertising and technology companies (AOL Ventures, Comcast, Hearst, MTV Networks, News Corporation and Time Warner, among others).

The ten promising startups invited to come to New York will each receive $20,000 to support the development and launch of their company. Throughout the program’s 12 weeks, recipients will participate in a series of lectures, coaching and networking events, and each company will interact closely with representatives of traditional media companies, digital media companies, e-commerce companies, experienced venture capitalists and other entrepreneurs.

The application process is open, but the deadline is fast approaching (March 31). Applicants should represent startups focused on advertising, infrastructure, e-commerce, digital content and mobile technology.

So what are you waiting for? Apply now for the opportunity to amp your business with new funding and networks.
