A Matter of TrustRadius
TrustRadius recently released a TrustMap as part of its Buyer’s Guide to Enterprise Social Media Management Software. To be included on the map, at least 20 percent of product’s reviews must be from enterprise users, the company noted.
The information includes the three major ways enterprises are leveraging social media, customer care, software features and supporting products, along with cases studies of the ways several organizations use social media management software for enterprise-level social media programs. Also included are profiles of top rated products, culled from information in TrustRadius user reviews.
Vinay Bhagat, CEO of TrustRadius, headquartered in Austin, Texas, said the guide is useful for both mid-to-large enterprises and socially savvy smaller companies.

Trust, But Netverify
The folks at Jumio might not be connoisseurs of artistic photography, but they claim their latest release of Netverify recognizes a good face shot when it sees one. The image capture technology “allows users to position their ID any which way within their camera view,” for better image matching and more accurate facial recognition for fraud prevention.
According to Jumio, it can even distinguish the difference between a live person and a photograph with Face Match technology that detects facial movements to ensure the owner of the ID is present.
The Netverify update includes:
- front-side optical character recognition
- improved extraction of 2D Barcode Scanning for U.S. driver’s licenses
- better blurriness detection
- an enhanced user interface
Daniel Mattes, CEO of Palo Alto, Calif. based Jumio, said the goal is to create a transaction environment that minimizes the likelihood of identity fraud and to improve the consumer experience while doing so.
Netverify is available for iOS and Android mobile apps, websites and the mobile web. You can view a demonstration here.
Indianapolis Legal
The next privacy policy, ToU or ToS you click on might have a little Brian Powers in it via PactSafe — a new cloud-based contract management application that “allows companies and their legal counsel to manage, track, deploy and enforce online legal agreements.”
Launched this week, patent-pending PactSafe is an application that simplifies digital legal agreements and allows businesses to manage and track them. The application organizes website agreements and then ensures the documents are “trackable by version, enforceable, and clearly viewable on the company’s website.”
Powers, a lawyer and entrepreneur, along with being founder and CEO of Indianapolis, Ind. based PactSafe, LLC, explains, “We developed PactSafe to be a resource for corporate clients and their legal counsel to ensure that digital legal agreements were effectively managed and enforceable.”
Who knows what Boston Legal's Denny Crane and Alan Shore might have done with an app like this?
