Oscar Berg is an accomplished author, speaker and strategist who has dedicated his career to helping organizations navigate the complex world of digital transformation. With a background in computer science and business, Berg brings a unique perspective to the field of digital strategy, blending technical expertise with business acumen to help organizations thrive in the digital age. Together with his friend and co-author Henrik Gustafsson he co-founded the consultancy firm Berg & Gustafsson.
Born and raised in Sweden, Oscar earned a Master of Science degree in Informatics from the University of Lund in 1997. Since then, he has spent the past 25 years building a successful career as a consultant. Berg specializes in developing and implementing tailored digital strategies for organizations across a variety of industries, including healthcare, retail, real estate and technology. His expertise helps his clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of the digital age by providing guidance and support throughout the process. With his extensive experience, Berg has established himself as a trusted consultant in the field, with clients including IKEA, H&M and Volvo.
Oscar is the author of several books. In the widely acclaimed "Digital Workplace Strategy and Design," Berg and co-author Henrik Gustafsson provide a comprehensive framework for creating a digital workplace that is optimized for collaboration, innovation and productivity. The book provides practical guidance for organizations looking to build a digital workplace that can thrive in the fast-paced digital world.
His most recent book, "Make the Office Great Again," is a refreshing take on improving the work environment. With a fun and lighthearted approach to a serious topic, this book is a great read for anyone looking to enhance their workplace, or simply enjoy a good laugh. The title is a clever play on words, referencing a former U.S. president's campaign slogan.
