Kalyan Kumar (KK) plays the role of Global CTO & Head - Ecosystems for HCL Technologies. He is actively involved in Product & Technology Strategy, Strategic Partner Ecosystem, Startup incubation, Open Innovation/Open Source, Enterprise Technology Office and supports the company’s organic/inorganic initiatives. In addition, he is responsible for the Strategic Hyperscalers & Tech OEM Ecosystem Business Units.
Aside from his primary responsibilities, KK plays the role of Global Practice leader for Digital Foundation (Infra & Platform Modernization, Hybrid Cloud, Digital Workplace, Enterprise Networking & Telco Cloud, Integrated IT Ops) & the DRYiCE.AI Software Division.
He contributes his experience as a member of Wall Street Journal CIO Network, the CNBC Technology Executive Council, Fellow of British Computer Society and as part of WEF Global Future Council 2020 & 2021 for Quantum Computing. He is on the board of two startups and a midsize technology company in the hybrid data/analytics domain.
KK is a trustee in a London-based charity driving the adoption of the game of cricket in state schools, is the vice-chairman of Tower Hamlet Championship Div1 Cricket Club and a Cricket Performance Group for U13 Cricket and has been freshly inducted into the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (Lords). His goal is to target the wholistic development of community through sport.
